This information was compiled from well construction reports (WCRs) that were submitted by well drillers to the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. WGNHS has subsequently maintained a database of these records. Well locations were mapped to the centroid of either a section, quarter section, or quarter-quarter section as recorded on the original WCR. These locations have not been field verified, and errors are very common.",
